The Gore Hotel Wedding Photography

London is always an excellent idea for a wedding. City so full and vibrant of people, energy and culture. This time the wedding I was privileged to photograph was extraordinary. After 12 of being together a lovely and humble people in love - Eamon and Gordon finally were able to fulfil their dream of saying yes for life to each other. Living in London for most of their lives, there was simply no question where to get married. Naturally, Eamon and Gordon decided that to have their wedding ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall, which is an iconic wedding ceremony venue and for the rest of their wedding day their favourite hotel The Gore was a natural choice. The Gore is a unique boutique hotel in Kensington with very distinctive character and interior. It’s famous among loads of celebrities, and even Rolling Stones chose to film one of their music videos there. Great location, beautiful interior and atmosphere was simply a perfect choice for Eamon and Gordon’s wedding day.

Every wedding is unique. Coming together of couples closest people and friends and saying “I do” for life is the highlight for every couple. In this particular case, however, it was extraordinary special. As the couple told me themselves, being in a gay relationship and only being able to get married after 12 years of being together meant the world to them. Moreover, having their closest family and friends witnessing such a critical moment was extraordinary. The couple spent their wedding morning together at the Gore hotel getting ready and left to their ceremony with a black cab. The ceremony itself was very emotional, and all their guest was incredibly supportive and cheerful. Later everyone was taken back to the hotel with old school London red bus, which is an iconic symbol for every British wedding. The rest of the wedding day was filled with beautiful speeches, cake cutting and loads of dancing. Altogether it was merely a fantastic wedding day that couple won’t forget for a long time.
