Clearwell Castle Wedding | Documentary Wedding Photographer

Hey Motiejus, thanks so much. We are thrilled with them. Sorry, I am only responding now, it’s taken this long to look through them all. You are a start, and we couldn’t be any happier having you as our wedding photographer!

Documentary Wedding Photography at Clearwell Castle

Described by some as a Fairytale caste: Clearwell Castle is an 18th Century Castle build in Glauschescire as well known as the earliest Georgian Gothic Revival castle in England predating better-known examples such as Strawberry Hill House by over twenty years. All in all, there can hardly be a better location for your wedding than a beautiful and historic castle hidden in the magnificent forest. Full of unique photographic places the castle and all the surrounding areas great location from both couple and photographer’s perspective. I’ve travelled from London a day before to make sure I’m here ready to work early in the morning and to have a look at all the possible locations for the wedding itself. There were no questions left why Madeleine and Louis choose this magnificent location for their wedding day.

Clearwell Castle Wedding Photography

Madeleine with the girls was getting ready early in the morning in one of the beautiful rooms at the Castle. We had loads of time, and I’ve decided to do some nice and creative shots of her getting ready. Usually, I use this time to try some new photography techniques or something that I hadn’t done before and looked back at the images from the morning, and I think it worked like a treat.

The Ceremony at the ballroom with all the guest-ready and waiting followed after. It was a lovely humanist ceremony filled with laughter and jokes. The couple exchanged their vows there as well, and that kept all the guests giggling throughout. Later after the Ceremony, the confetti followed up during which I think I got my best confetti shot in all my career - Look at Louis’ reaction - comedy speaks for itself. After confetti, guests were enjoying drinks and canapes at the front lawn while I took the couple for their portrait session. It was great to explore all the areas around the Castle and find the best spots for their pictures.

Dinner was served later followed by some crazy and witty speeches, and after it - guests were taken to a different room for the evening entertainment Oh boy, it was simply surreal. All the guests were on their feet from the first moment and pretty much never stopped. The close friends of the couple are DJ’s, and they made sure that everybody was having a fantastic time.

It was a fantastic day from the very start to finish, and I enjoyed every single minute photographing such a fun and lively wedding. Thank you, Madeleine and Louis, for having me as your wedding photographer and for the ability to tell your story which will hopefully remind you how great your day was for years to come.

If you’re looking for a documentary wedding photographer who would photograph your wedding day creatively and capture all the crazy and fun emotions of it - get in touch, and it will be my pleasure to be your wedding day photographer.
